The Purpose of Our Club: Alan Wormser, N5LF (sk), was a devoted Ham Radio Elmer, and he particularly loved promoting the use and teaching of Morse Code. He was remarkably skilled at using code, and he was also very patient and encouraging to all his code students.
Alan died on August 12, 2005 long before he should have. His friends from the Alexandria Ham Radio Club in northern Virginia (W4HFH) have created together this club, KJ4DLX, to honor Alan and continue his efforts to promote and support the use of Morse Code wherever and however we can. There are many sources of help for people interested in Morse Code, and we strive to add a unique personality to our activities that we believe would please Alan - usually with a significant sense of humor. If you have suggestions or comments of any kind, please do join our conversation!
We love and miss you Alan! 88 - Lara, Ian, and the gang from the Alexandria Radio Club.
